The Professor's Birthday

Like all admirers of Professor Gabriel Owen Emerson, I'd like to join in wishing our favourite thud-worthy academic the most wonderful birthday ever. 

Now he's with his Julianne I hope they have a lovely day together. (Parenthetically, much as I love The Snarky Narrator, I'd like him to go on an extensive shopping trip for parentheticals.) 

Naturally, Gabriel, being Gabriel, would be entranced at seeing his Julianne in stylish heels. I've found quite a few pairs which would have his pulses racing:
